Team Leader Training
Take the Name of Jesus to the Nations
Team Leader Training
As Mission Team Leaders at Ridgecrest, we realize that we have a responsibility to equip and encourage the global church to carry out the Great Commission. We seek to come alongside national and cross-cultural partners for the sake of compassion work, prayer, disciple-making, and church planting.
This team meets four times per year for the purpose of moving forward in unified vision, mutual encouragement, and training.
Team Leader Apprentice Program
What is the Team Leader Apprentice Program?
Each year, the Lord continues to bless Ridgecrest as more and more are sent to the field. We have a variety of mission fields and people groups we are currently engaging, and we are in need of more leaders for our mission teams. We are so encouraged that many who have applied for this program already have field experience and share God’s heart for the Gospel to reach all nations. The Team Leader Apprentice Program is designed to provide adequate, well-rounded training to our upcoming leaders as they prepare to engage the lost with the Gospel and lead other believers to the field.
What Are the Requirements and Qualifications?
The Apprentice must obtain 50 hours of credit to complete the program. The training program is divided into two categories - required training and selected training. There are a variety of missions-related options to choose from in order to complete the selected training requirements, including books, online resources, and classes offered at Ridgecrest. A portion of the training is required and is designed to prepare the Apprentice for leading trips through Ridgecrest specifically.
For more information about qualifications and expectations of Team Leaders, please email the Missions Mobilization Director.
What Fields Are Being Engaged by Ridgecrest?
We lead trips to South Dakota, Italy, Ecuador, Montreal, Spain, Lesotho, Southeast Asia, and Nicaragua, as well as a trip in Missouri.
Who Can I Talk to if I Want to Learn More?
This program is a continual work-in-process. With more interest and a continual need for leaders, the program has recently undergone some re-structuring. For any questions or clarification, please email Kelsey Palomino, Missions Mobilization Director. Thank you for your love for the Lord and for your step of faith toward the call to take the Good News to the nations!
