AIDS Ministry

Share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with people affected by HIV and AIDS by offering prayer support, notes of encouragement, special projects, phone contacts, visits and deliveries, and/or serving once a month at After Dark Outreach Center.

Celebrate Recovery

Biblical approach using small groups to bring about life changes and healing. Worship leaders, snack providers, children’s leaders for Celebrating Kids, small group facilitators, including DivorceCare and Veterans, are ways you can serve.

Celebrate Recovery Inside

Once a week men travel to Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland, MO to lead the inmates in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry.

GriefShare

Bring hope and encouragement to the grieving by co-leading a 13 week study on grief recovery. Training provided.

Financial Ministries

Equip people to learn, apply, and teach God’s financial principles through a 9 week study.

Residential Care Facilities Ministry

There are many ways to serve, including, but not limited to, visiting, reading, writing letters, and even planning birthday parties. Please prayerfully consider this wonderful ministry.

Disaster Preparedness

Food preparation, housekeeping, transportation, medical and security are all needed when Ridgecrest is called upon to be a disaster shelter or during a pandemic. Join a team to work a shift and show God’s love in a critical time.

Deaf Ministry

Qualified interpreters are needed for worship services to translate songs and the spoken Word.

Job Search & Career Assistance

Assistants help people learn to conduct a job search, build an effective resume, and polish their interview skills.

Women’s Ministry

Opportunities include: teaching, decorating, working events and administrative duties.

Top Stitchers: Ladies who bless those in need through sewing. Newborns in Need, blankets for the homeless, clothing for kids in Africa and more. Non-sewers are needed to cut patterns, press garments, donate fabric or trimming. 

Jeffries Elementary School

Reading Mentor: Help a child improve his/her reading skills by being a reading mentor for 30 minutes once a week during school hours. Training is available via DVD.

Jeffries’ Cents of Pride Store: Help children learn and practice life skills. Children will earn school bucks to buy items in the store. You can serve by donating items for the store or you can help run the store.

English as a Second Language

Enjoy meeting  people from different countries while teaching English as their second language to adults. Shuttle drivers are also needed to transport students to and from MSU campus on a rotational basis.
