Our Next Generations Ministry exists to make Christ-centered disciples of children and their parents.
Parenting today is hard and yet research has confirmed what God’s Word prescribes: No one has more potential to spiritually influence a child than his or her parents!
Our preschool ministry focuses on laying the spiritual foundation for younger kids. We want our littles to know that church is a safe, fun, and happy place where they can learn about God and His love.
Our elementary ministry seeks to lead kids into a deeper understanding of God and His plan for them. We want our kids to know, love, and choose to follow Jesus.
Our student ministry focuses on preparing students to launch into a Christ-centered adulthood. We want students to know Jesus personally and make Him known.
Each area of our Next Generations ministry seeks to equip and encourage parents through an intentional faith pathway by providing workshops that coincide with the unique opportunities and challenges that come with each new stage of a child’s life. We want to partner with families so that we can see children grow as Jesus did; in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
Our Next Generations Team seeks to partner with parents, small group leaders, and ministry volunteers toward the goal of seeing families TRUST Christ in salvation, GROW together in faith, and become Christ-centered adults who SHARE their lives through ministry for a lifetime.
Along the way, we want to do everything we can to strengthen the discipleship possibilities that happen when a child’s “home family” and “church family” partner together in raising godly kids. As families move from one age-graded ministry to the next, we want to make these transitions as seamless as possible by preparing kids and their parents ahead of time and celebrating important milestones as they occur.
(All teachers have passed background checks, and they are given excellent curriculum, training, and encouragement as they minister to all of our littles, kids, and students.)
