Children’s Minister

Hey! I’m Shayla Hale, Children’s Minister at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. I joined the staff in January 2007 and have the great privilege of serving children in 1st – 6th grades and their families. I love children and have a passion to share Jesus with them and their families. My desire is for Ridgecrest Childhood Ministry to partner with parents in laying a faith foundation for their child as We Worship God, We Grow Together and We Serve Others. I want to provide excellent Christian education in the church so that when the time is right, children will come to a personal faith in Jesus. I enjoy teaching children about God’s love and the magnificent world He has created for us. One of my favorite parts of ministry is counseling with children who have made a public profession of faith and are ready to follow Jesus’ example of believer’s baptism.  Ridgecrest has fabulous adult leading in Childhood Ministry.
