Service Needs
Childhood Ministry
Would you like to serve in a preschool or elementary Bible Study class? Sign up and we will put you in a classroom with a teacher and the kids to try it out.
We are also looking for those who can serve outside the classroom, greeting, gathering supplies, technical production, hospitality, etc. This would be on Sunday mornings.
If you are not available on Sunday, but would like to serve during the week, childhood would love to work with you.
To sign up, see the Sunday bulletin, call or email Julie Ellis @ 417.885.5217, jellis@ridgecrestbaptist.org
To learn more about serving opportunities, see Sunday's bulletin or call Julie Ellis at 417.885.5217 or email her at jellis@ridgecrestbaptist.org.
We Serve Others
Ridgecrest, in conjunction with Rare Breed, will begin serving
homeless teens in Springfield by opening a safe place for them to have
lunch and learn about the God who loves them. On Sundays, from 11 a.m.
to 2 p.m., teams of seven will host meals provided by Faith Families. Host
teams will serve once every four weeks, while Faith Families will serve
once a quarter. See the sign-me up section of the bulletin to serve or
receive additional information.
National Missions
Short-Term Mission ProjectsThese mission-oriented projects are in conjunction with our Strategic Mission Partnerships (SMP) domestically and abroad. The relationships we have with SMPs connect Ridgecrest with a partner on a mission field. These projects typically 7-10 days and often require four to five months of preparation. After returning from the project, your team will have a follow-up gathering to assess the trip.
