Ridgecrest offers periodic evangelism training and classes to equip believers for spreading the Gospel and reaching the lost.
Lifebuilders Ministries, Inc. is a not-for-profit ministry whose mission is to "heal the broken hearted and set the captives free” through planting churches, teaching life skills, mentoring residents, and providing benevolence in low income multi-housing properties in the Springfield, Missouri area.
Project Springfield is a way for the students of Springfield, Missouri to impact their community through yard work, block parties, and other forms of community service. The Lifebook Project is equipping junior high and high school students to share the Gospel at their local schools through a free gift: the Lifebook. The Lifebook presents the Word of God in a clear and concise manner. Students simply give their friends the Lifebook and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
The homeless ministry takes place every Sunday from 11-1p.m. at The Gathering Tree. Volunteers serve breakfast and coffee to homeless and materialistically poor people while building relationships and sharing the love of Christ. The Homeless Ministry strives to encourage the Gathering Tree guests to lead Christ-centered lives through spiritual guidance and unconditional love. Each Sunday relationships are built and strengthened as our team shares breakfast and Bible study with the guests at the Gathering Tree located in center-city Springfield.
Smart Choice Foods is a food distribution program that seeks to serve our community. Food distribution takes place at our Remington’s facility (1655 W. Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807).
We seek to engage our community and share the Gospel in local neighborhoods and apartment complexes. Throughout the year, we use our Mobile Church Unit to host block parties and neighborhood events.
These mission-oriented projects are in conjunction with our Strategic Mission Partnerships (SMP) domestically and abroad. The relationships we have with SMPs connect Ridgecrest with a partner on a mission field. These projects are typically 7-10 days and often require four to five months of preparation. After returning from the project, your team will have a follow-up gathering to assess the trip.
Ridgecrest sends work crews to assist Kingdom Builders in volunteer building projects and evangelism in Louisiana.
Our Family Mission Adventure gives families the opportunity to serve together in sharing the Gospel during short-term stateside mission trips. Our upcoming Family Mission Adventure will be June 26-28, 2014.
We are seeking to develop relationships and engage with South East Asians living in U.S. cities, with the purpose of sharing the Gospel.
If you enjoy meeting people from different countries and teaching English, this is the ministry for you! Shuttle drivers are also needed to transport students to and from Missouri State University campus on a rotational basis.
International Day takes place at the beginning of each school year at the School to the Nations campus. Hundreds of international students will come for food, fun, and the opportunity to get plugged in to area organizations.
Ridgecrest is currently involved in many places in the world, ranging from Botswana, Cuba, Nicaragua and Southeast Asia.
Ridgecrest partners with Project H.O.P.E., to bring the Gospel to the people of Nicaragua. We also offer periodic mission trips to serve alongside the missionaries there. Trips to Nicaragua often offer openings for construction teams, evangelism teams, sports ministry, and children’s ministry.
The Botswana Deaf Ministry seeks to share the Gospel with the deaf community of Botswana. Through periodic mission trips several decisions of faith have been made and Ridgecrest is excited about being a part of this thriving ministry.
Ridgecrest is seeking to adopt two unreached people groups in South East Asia, as well as periodic mission trips to share the Gospel with the people there.
Ridgecrest partners with a church in Cuba to plant churches and share the Good News of Jesus.
