International Missions

The Huichol Project

Ridgecrest has adopted the unreached people group, the Huichol (We-chol) Indians of the Sierra Madra mountains in Mexico. Less than 1% claim to beevangelical Christians. You can join a team that travels to the Huichol territory to share the gospel in their heart language.

Local Missions

Short-Term Mission Projects

These projects work in conjunction with our Strategic Mission Partnerships in the USA and around the world. Our SMPs are ongoing relationships between RBC and a partner on the mission field. The Short-Term Mission Projects typically last 7-10 days and most often require four to five months of preparation and follow-up within a team context.

Branch Ministry

Teams from RBC establish a weekly worship service and Bible study in an available off-campus location and seek to disciple new believers who come to Christ through that branch church. A heart for lost people is all that is required.

Mission Possible

This annual one-day event has been a huge success from the first one in1997. Hundreds of Ridgecrest people go out into the community to help those who are physically or financially unable, with things such ashome repair, yard work, painting, or other acts of kindness. So, grab a ladder or rake, roll up your sleeves, and join us for a fun and fulfilling day of blessing others.

Community Children’s Reading Club

Do you enjoy reading to school-age children and helping them learn to read? This ministry allows you to work with one child for one hour each week during school hours to help them improve their reading skills. Training is available via VHS/DVD.
