Evangelism Discipleship

Ridgecrest offers periodic evangelism training and classes to equip believers for spreading the Gospel and reaching the lost.

Lifebuilders Ministries, Inc. is a not-for-profit ministry whose mission is to "heal the broken hearted and set the captives free” through planting churches, teaching life skills, mentoring residents, and providing benevolence in low income multi-housing properties in the Springfield, Missouri area.

Project Springfield

Project Springfield is a way for the students of Springfield, Missouri to impact their community through yard work, block parties, and other forms of community service. Project Springfield is offered periodically throughout the year for students grades 7-12. For more information, contact Student Pastor Joe Nelson at jnelson@ridgecrestbaptist.org.

The Lifebook Project

The Lifebook Project is equipping junior high and high school students to share the Gospel at their local schools through a free gift: the Lifebook. The Lifebook presents the Word of God in a clear and concise manner. Students simply give their friends the Lifebook and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

Homeless Ministry at The Gathering Tree

The homeless ministry takes place every Sunday from 11-1p.m. at The Gathering Tree. Volunteers serve breakfast and coffee to homeless and materialistically poor people while building relationships and sharing the love of Christ. The Homeless Ministry strives to encourage the Gathering Tree guests to lead Christ-centered lives through spiritual guidance and unconditional love. Each Sunday relationships are built and strengthened as our team shares breakfast and Bible study with the guests at the Gathering Tree located in center-city Springfield.

Smart Choice Food

Smart Choice Foods is a food distribution program that seeks to serve our community. Food distribution takes place at our Remington’s facility (1655 W. Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807).

Block Parties

We seek to engage our community and share the Gospel in local neighborhoods and apartment complexes. Throughout the year, we use our Mobile Church Unit to host block parties and neighborhood events.

National Missions

Short-Term Mission Projects

These mission-oriented projects are in conjunction with our Strategic Mission Partnerships (SMP) domestically and abroad. The relationships we have with SMPs connect Ridgecrest with a partner on a mission field. These projects are typically 7-10 days and often require four to five months of preparation. After returning from the project, your team will have a follow-up gathering to assess the trip.
