Children's Sunday School

First through sixth graders are involved in Bible study and Bible activities to help them learn how to love Jesus more and follow His plan for their lives. Teachers who have been trained, had background checks and who use provided curriculum and resources interact with the boys and girls, answer questions, and provide exciting opportunities for kids to become learners, searchers, and doers of God’s Word. There are three Sunday School hours (9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. & 5:30 p.m.) provided. Children also attend a Sunday Worship Service with their church family each week.

School Year Growth Opportunities

Kids’ Praise/Kids’ Missions
Wednesday evenings during the school year are FUN for kids! First through sixth graders get to enjoy time in age-graded praise and worship as they sing and learn musical skills to help them celebrate God. Then, they are involved in learning about missionaries and participating in mission activities.  Kids’ Praise and Kids’ Missions is 6:00-7:30p.m.

Summer Growth Opportunities

Wonderful Wednesdays
Throughout the summer months, boys and girls first through 6th grade have the opportunity to be involved in theme-related, curriculum-oriented activities each Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 PM.

Vacation Bible School
Each summer, school age children enjoy the best week of the summer – VBS!  This week provides Bible stories, age-related activities, crafts, music, snacksand lots of friends and fun as kids learn about loving and living for Jesus.

Camp
Each summer children who have completed 3rd – 6th grades have the opportunity to attend camp with their Ridgecrest friends.  Summer 2008 will find us at Centri-Kid on the campus of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, the week of July 28th – August 1st.
